But it’s a good message for N.E. to send. He’s only 23 and his success and notoriety came quickly, so reign him in now and remind him of the business at hand. He has a chance to be as good as any TE we’ve ever seen.

Oh I sure hope not. Gronk hasn’t done anything to warrant that. Maybe they aren’t concerned as much as to what he’s done so far, just that “recess is over” so to speak. He’s a young guy who just got a nice extension for good money. It would be pretty normal to get a little wrapped up in that I think. I don’t think he has a malicious/lazy bone in his body but he may not realize how much time this stuff can take away from study time etc when camp rolls around.

He’s young. He’s rich. He’s a stud on the field.

Why shouldn’t he enjoy his time in the spotlight? He’s not “making it rain”, hitting women in clubs, getting stabbed by his wife, shooting people, getting shot, etc.

I’m a dolphins fan, but I can still appreciate this guy’s style. Keep it up, Gronk. If I were you, I would be doing the same things.
