I have a friend who caught his wife in bed with another man, told her its over and walked out as she was screaming and apologizing the whole way through the house… As he went to grab his things from the kitchen she took a butcher knife and stabbed him in the back under the shoulder blade and pulled it down 6 inches. He turned and hit her with a chair and then called 911. When the cops came they arrested him because that was the law in Florida at the time but he was defending himself and the woman eventually went to jail for attempted murder. The point is that we do not know what truly happened yet so until we do it’s best to reserve judgement.

Dez Bryant, I sincerely hope you read this.

At a time when your coach preaches being the right kind of guy. When your team has 89 of 90 people with 100% participation in the off-season program. When your organization has made the best effort in its history to make a difference in the community – you go and get yourself arrested.

Let’s review. You could have been a top 10 pick, but you got suspended by the NCAA. You get yourself arrested at the mall (although you may not realize it, it’s hard for a mall to turn down business from a millionaire and arrest him instead). Then, you get yourself involved in a civil dispute for not paying off the bling you bought on time. And now this.

At some point you are going to have to come to the conclusion that it’s not the way the world is, it’s how you’re being.

If you do anything tomorrow, register yourself for the Forum at Landmark Education (there’s a location in Dallas) and discover the difference you can make for others on this planet. You have a tremendous amount to offer this world – so cut this crap out.

As I lifelong Cowboys fan (since the 70′s), I’m embarrassed for my team right now. I suspect there are many others as well – including the fans and your teammates. I understand the Cowboys nation is not perfect and in past times the star has been tarnished. But this is not how we roll!

I’ve never passed the but I believe I can speak on behalf of Dez’s attorney when I say : he is innocent; the truth will come out; there was no need to arrest Dez; that is not how it happened; the video will clear him (or there is no video evidence-I always get those confused)

That’ll be $100,000, Mr. Bryant…

Heard the lowdown on this one…

Seems Dez and his girlfriend were having a pleasant discussion at home… with Bryant informing her his dad was a pimp, and that his mother worked for his dad…

When all of a sudden, completely out of the blue… his girlfriend asked if his mother was a prostitute!!?!?!?!

Well of course this isn’t the first time this has happened to Dez… and although he’s spent countless sleepless nights wondering why it continues to happen – he’s just been unable to comprehend why people continue to ask this hurtful question.

So finally fed up… Bryant decided to administer an “attitude adjustment”, strictly in the hopes of nipping a recurring problem in the bud. Unfortunately, said “attitude adjustment” wasn’t appreciated as a corrective measure by the girlfriend… who immediately sought to involve 3rd parties (IE: DeSoto, Texas law enforcement officers).

I guess Jeff Ireland is just darn lucky he wasn’t born female.
