In the state of NH, lifting the shirt would have constituted “Criminal Threatening”, a felony. I can’t see how some crime was not committed there.

They also lied to a cop, which is also usually a crime in most places.

Despite the lawyer’s statement about no charges, the accompanying linked story says both were charges with “assault with a deadly weapon”, and an independent witness, a waitress, confirmed the story.

Even if he had a permit, he broke the law when he lifted his shirt. Concealed means just that, it shouldn’t be visible. If this report is true Dumervil is a moron and lucky the driver of the other car didn’t put some hot lead in him.

What part of “If this is true…” was difficult to understand? Just because a lawyer can manipulate the system does not mean the event did not happen. I am not saying he is guilty and a reduction or dropped charges does not mean he is “innocent” either. Again, IF THIS IS TRUE, he should be punished by the league regardless of whether or not his lawyer can “get him off”
