dino have you ever watched game film at all? To say Stafford is medicore is just plain ridiculous. He has a great arm and will only get better. Future MVP

Calvin Johnson is by far the best WR in football. He’s so good he makes a medicore QB like Stafford actually look like a top level QB.

Find it hard to consider a WR as the “most dangerous weapon” unless he’s also returning kicks. Because on offense, a WR is still dependent on a decent QB. You think Megatron is still Megatron is Stafford busts a knee and Shaun Hill or Kellen Moore has to do it for 16 games? You think Jerry Rice is Jerry Rice if he plays on, say, the Lions, Buccaneers, Bears, etc. in the ’80s and ’90s? Nope.

As good as Johnson is he still couldn’t help the Lions win a playoff game. I’m sorry QBs are the “most” dangerous weapon in the NFL. They can carry a team to victory.

Everyone always says it was just cris carter but lets be honest…outside of the lions fan base there weren’t a lot of people who understood just how good Calvin was, it was crazy how many times I had to argue with people that Calvin was the best receiver in the league before this year. I’m not even mad a carter cause he wasn’t the only one. People would say he’s top ten but they always took roddy white and Wayne over him.

Had Calvin Johnson had an ordinary season I doubt if Chris Carter would have eased up on Calvin Johnson. They are both pros at what they do and Carter doesn’t need some other member of the media to ask for fans to ease up. Especially since many of the media won’t ease up on Suh being out of control or Stafford bring injury prone, Schwartz being a hot head, or the team in general having no composure.
