1. Calling Vick a weakness is not just “not entirely accurate,” but absolutely stupid. True, he didn’t have a great year. But he was also injured a lot and dealing with a lot of things out of his control (Jackson’s contract, Maclin’s illness, Castillo’s defense, etc). Based on Vick’s comments about his efforts this offseason, there is every reason to believe he’ll be a strength. At *worst* he’s an unknown.

2. As the previous poster said, how is Shady McCoy not one of the biggest strength. Dude is a BEAST.

3. Jackson is not given enough “strength” credit. His contract clearly affected him, and both parties handled it poorly. But there is no denying his talent. I can’t see him having anything other than a fantastic year.

I don’t get this statement. The Eagles came within minutes of sweeping the Giants last year (@Giants won with VY at the helm), and swept BOTH Dallas and the Redskins…even with their very subpar defense and other personnel issues. I don’t see that the Giants have improved much despite their SB victory. The Redskins should be considerably better with RGIII, but they have a long way to go. Dallas will likely be improved, but I don’t know how much. The Eagles should be the odds-on favorite to win the division. Don’t forget, the SB champs were 1 game ahead of them in the playoff race, and finished the regular season 9-7.

5. The hatred of the Eagles amongst PFT commenters is pretty stunning. 56% said they were rated “too high.” Really? Based on what? They are EXACTLY where they should be.
