As teams report to training camps this week, there’s going to be plenty of roster tweaking.
The Eagles may be making a punter move, as veteran Brad Maynard was on hand for a workout, according to Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com
The Eagles brought Maynard in for a workout in June as well. The only punter on the roster at the moment is Chas Henry, an undrafted pickup last year who ranked 30th in gross average (42.9) and 33rd in net (36.9).
Of course, the 38-year-old Maynard, who was in Cleveland last year, was one of the few punters who ranked worse than Henry in those two categories (40.5 gross and 36.7 net).
The Eagles cut undrafted rookie Ryan Tydlacka Friday.
UPDATE: 10:59 a.m. ET: According to Les Bowen of the Philadelpia Daily News, the Eagles are also working out three other punters. Jason Baker, Mat McBriar and Chris Bryan are the others.

why would we sign a significantly older player with worse statistics? clearly just a means of pushing Henry. He was the best punter in college his last year i believe
Who’s brilliant idea was it to let Sav Rocca walk anyway? Let’s coax Reggie Roby out of retirement. I bet he still has a leg.
They should bring in Matt Dodge. That would make for great irony.
