- you know I have heard all these lame explanations before and still have never seen one iota of evidense that the Saints did anything wrong in any game last year. If they did why didn’t the refs or the NFL, for that matter, flag or fine the players that made the so called dangerously bad hits? All the NFL is doing is penalizing the Saints for the way they modivated the players to perform and every team in the NFL does the same thing. SO with that said, just what did the Saints do that was so wrong?

Actually the system and the talent that the Saints have along with the chip that the NFL has put on their shoulder will likely be a problem for their opponents. I realize the Falcons for one have a very good team in their division but I will not be surprised to see the Saints deep into the playoffs no matter who is the coach. Just as they had success when Payton was out last year, the system and talent has the momentum and ability to carry them forward….. Brees, Graham, Sproles, Colston… I think they may hold their own! But hey, that’s just me!

You can say what you may about the New Orleans Saints Drew Brees has more brains under the bottom of his feet than most coaches have their heads. No we don’t need another after Vitt start his suspension Drew Brees can handle it the are just that good and we going to prove it in 2012 and in 2013 super Bowl make sure all you Saints haters record it because it going to be history. ( YOU GUYS HEAR ME ).

I’m surprised they’ve waited this long to put a plan in place. But guess that’s to be expected of folks who dragged their heels on signing the key to their offensive continuity and only hope for success this season. I’d go with Spagnuolo because I favor head coaches from the defensive side of the ball. The main thing is that they get beyond the, um, “infantile” stages and quickly make an adult decision.

The Saints are being forced to compete with one hand tied behind their back, and they’ll probably still keep on winning. I get the feeling some people are annoyed by that.
