Vollmer is OK and Solder has the potential to be good, even very good.

Neither one will have the career that Jared Veldheer is going to have. The Pro Bowl will be a commom theme in his career, hopefully a couple of SB rings as well.

Another gem of a pick by the late, great Al Davis (RIP).

Vollmer is a beast, looks great on paper and when healthy has the potential to be one of the best the league has ever had. But that’s only when he is healthy. The team took a risk bringing him in because of his past. It was hoped that they would be able to strengthen his back an minimize his issues there. That doesn’t look like it will happen. It’s too bad, I like the guy, but I don’t see him being here after this season.

Besides Ballard the other players will most likely be playing at the start of the regular season if not before and at a high level.

This team has a lot going for them and the only thing I see stopping them is injuries. Should be a good year.

I think Vollmer is probably out after this year with BB looking to the draft for a replacement…The guy is great at the tackle spot when he’s healthy but he always comes down with these back injuries which you have to figure will also be an issue this year…I hope he can stay healthy because it makes the line that much better but I’m not holding my breath

Its all good. Brady doesn’t really need a good offensive line since he’s so mobile and athletic.

You start to wonder if Vollmer’s ever gonna be healthy again. He’s only 27 but it seems like its one thing after another with this guy. And after a full off season he’s still not Training Camp ready.
Then again, N.E. didn’t use draft picks or free agent signings on O.T.’s so maybe they know something and this all just precautionary.

The Volmer thing scares me. This is a chronic back problem going back to college, and now this is the 3rd season where he will miss some time due to this. Without Light they really cant afford to have this guy miss significant time.

Vollmer is a great tackle, but you have to wonder if he Patriots will keep him after his rookie deal is over. If healthy he’s an All-Pro lineman, but he spends way too much time injured. I’d rather have a more reliable and consistent played even if he’s not that talented. So much patching on the O-Line will affect any team.
