4-3 is the best defense to stop the pass. They’d be cray cray to switch to 3-4 right now base due to that anyway. It’s possible that this pass happiness which has led to more nickel and dime defenses will encourage the run against pass stopping Ds and we’ll see some resurgence league wide, but the pass game dominance will continue to exist as long as some of these horrible pro-pass offense rules exist.
