APThe Ravens signed linebacker Ricky Brown Wednesday, after a successful tryout.
The former Raiders linebacker was one of several players they looked at, along with former Browns guard Eric Steinbach, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.
Steinbach wasn’t signed, and is expected to make more visits, as he looks to get back in the game after missing last year with back problems.
Brown spent last year on injured reserve with a concussion, and has 13 starts in his previous six NFL seasons, all with the Raiders.

So they pass on a potential starter on offensive line, for an at-best 2nd string linebacker?
I don’t know how people still regard them as “genuises” as far as building their roster goes. Way too many missed opportunities, horrible signings, and what tops it all off is the “reasoning” they try to feed the fans and the blind support many give it.
Good Luck Ricky. Hope you make the 53.
Ricky always played hard, always had his motor going. Good luck in Bmore.
