Getty ImagesThe Pittsburgh Steelers have gathered in Latrobe for training camp. Six members of the team will begin the journey on the physically unable to perform list.
They are safety Damon Cromartie-Smith, nose tackle Casey Hampton, linebacker James Harrison, running back Rashard Mendenhall, tackle Max Starks, and linebacker Jason Worilds.
Hampton and Mendenhall are both recovering from torn ACLs. Starks, who re-signed with the Steelers last week, also is working his way back from an ACL tear.
Worilds had offseason wrist surgery, and Harrison missed time during OTAs with some sort of leg injury.
Teams have no obligation to provide any specific injury information until the first week of the regular season. The six players on the PUP list can emerge at any time during training camp or the preseason. If not ready to go by the final roster cuts, the players would land on the PUP list for at least six weeks of the regular season.

I though Harrison was going to retire. LOL, what a roided-out baby!
Here comes ravenator to say something stupid …
I really like that new rule implemented this year, where if you have an injured player you don’t have to lose them for the whole season, they could be healthy just in time for playoffs. Looks like that could be the case for Terrell Suggs this year.
Like I said this team is old and on the decline
Harrison will be ready for opening day…….all the others guys we have backups for so not worried about it…..why do raven and browns fans oh and bungal fans feel the need to add their ignorant comments to steelers articles? I never have commented on their sites and I never see comments from other steeler fans on their sites…….get a life ravenator!!!!!
