Adams didn’t work out because of a tragic passing, Okoye was a steal last year Merriweather was not. That and this is a completely different pro scouting staff and GM. All teams have to make moves like this.

The Bears cant lose in this situation. They are giving up a 7th round pick for a former 2nd round pick with high upside whos only 23 years old. Hes had injury issues and terrible family tragedies that have hurt his career thus far. We needed to add DT depth and this move certainly did that. Another good move by Phil Emery.

Yet another example of the absolutely terrible job Mark Dominik is doing as GM. He is in WAY over his head, just like Raheem was, and this team won’t improve until he is gone.

As far as Schiano goes, he still thinks he is coaching in college the way he keeps running guys out of town. He needs to realize that the NFL operates differently very soon, and that his mediocre record at Rutgers doesn’t carry much weight. He has to earn respect just like anyone else.

Seems like the Bears are always making these trades for under-performers and it just never works out. Gaines Adams, Amobi Okoye, Brandon Meriweather, and on and on. Can we quit gambling on injured with upside guys and focus on adding solid and durable already?
