the refs are overrated, we could bring in the best young NCAA officials at half the price and not miss a beat.

The teams owners need to find some good people’s to work in the NFL HeadQuarters and fire the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. The NFL never been this messed up without professional referees the games are going to be a big mess the owners must do something about all of this junk. Before game day start.

Get rid of that picture!!! Insulting the officials is not right. I’ve seen with back up refs and it’s bad. Back up
Refs can’t see the game at all! Respect the best refs the game has to offer. Honestly the year we had back up refs they altered the game so much I couldnt stand it. The back up refs ruined the game. Season ticket holders will lose it with these fools. Look at the tapes…games where u see bottles thrown on the field wee all done by scrub refs. I’ll add it’s an insult to the players and coaches to have scrub refs. They can’t see the game well enough….get the freaking deal done.

That this isn’t the biggest story of this NFL offseason goes to show just how much our society has devolved in a rubbernecking, ambulance chasing mass of drama addicts. This is a major, major issue, but all the arrests and the drama surrounding Bountygate have pushed the most impactful issue down the list. Ugly, if you ask me.

I totally agree. In that game those lousy officials called 5 penalties on the Vikings for 32 yards and 9 penalties for 88 yards on the Saints. They were terrible…….

I hope the regular officials are ready to go on opening night but please can they ditch Jerome Bogar and Jeff Triplette? Those guys are terrible!

I haven’t kept up on what the beef is between the two sides, although I’m guessing its money. In any case, I sincerely hope they can come to some resolution, and soon. I firmly believe that NFL refs are the best of any sports. Now that moonlighting is apparently out, I can envision NFL games quickly becoming a comedy of errors with bargain bin refs.
