Somewhere, Jeremy Shockey is smiling. And not because he just got another tattoo.

Eagles tight end Brent Celek suffered a knee injury at practice on Thursday, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

He caught a pass, he left not long afterwards, and he then was seen wearing a wrap on his knee.

Before Eagles fans panic, Celek claims it’s no big deal. “I’ll be good,” he said, per McLane. “Promise.”

The Eagles are thin at the position behind Celek, with Brett Brackett, Clay Harbor, and rookie Chase Ford on the 90-man roster.

The Eagles brought in Visanthe Shiancoe for a workout earlier this week. He later signed with the Patriots. Despite interest in Shockey, the Eagles have yet to give him a look-see.

If Celek is anything other than “good,” that could change.
