you get caught dancing shirtless just hours after losing the super bowl, supposedly after being so badly injured that you were completely ineffective in the big game. then you follow that up with youtube videos in an attempt to win a spot on the cover of madden. after that, you top it all off by pursuing your own reality television show. if you don’t want to become a story, don’t put yourself out there like you’ve done.

I think its odd how this guy has been given a pass, practically celebrated for what can certainly be described as reckless and careless behavior. Maybe its because he’s such an elite monster on the field. But, most athletes who would willingly flaunt antics such as his would find harsh criticism and little support from the league and its fans.

He was on vacation from work and he had fun. Now he is back to work so he is focused on work. The media is really reaching here. There are plenty of examples of players who messed up this off-season, this isn’t one of them.

I’m not a pats fan, but I think the media is trying to make this a big deal and create controversy. He really hasn’t done anything wrong. Let the guy live his life how he wants, not how the media thinks he should.
