The Chargers O-line (or lack of it) will be the single biggest reason this team misses the play-offs again. There’s a reason Gaither was let go by two teams. Teams don’t let guys go that they perceive have value, especially left tackles.

Gaither will be lucky to start the season, and Dielman is gone. Tyronne Green (who’s done nothing in 3 full years in the league), Nick Hardwick (solid but getting old), Louis Vasquez (average), and Jeremy Clary (plain bad) are the other starters. This is not a good group overall. Add to that Mario Henderson (who I can say with certainty is awful as a Raider fan) and Brandon Dombrowski as the primary back ups. Wow. This team is in trouble.

Rivers (not exactly Michael Vick out there as far as mobility) will eating te ball a lot this season, and I don’t see a lot of holes for Mathews (you know the guy that is supposedly elite).

AJ and Norv can punch their tickets out of town right now, by not really addressing this line. Oakland continues to be the sleeper team no one is counting on. Let’s see what happens when the season starts.

He can play when he’s motivated. But, he couldn’t stay motivated in college which is why he was in the supplemental draft, and a fifth round pick at that. He couldn’t stay motivated in Baltimore, even in contract years. He was motivated at the end of last season to get a contract. Now you gave him the contract he has no motivation. Enjoy the drama San Diego!
