Well, if handing out a bunch of money would suddenly get a player to perform up to the level of that money, being an NFL GM would be easy.

Mularkey just got there, didn’t he? Can’t remember when Del Rio got fired, but new regime has to kind of cover for Gabbert even if he wasn’t their 1st round pick. They are stuck with him for the time being.

So it’s easier at this stage to talk about ‘needing more’ from the journeyman WR you went out and got in FA after he had one awesome year in which he had a Pro Bowl QB throwing him the ball.

My prediction is Robinson doesn’t last long in Jax, he’ll be the first of several WR’s offered up by the staff to try to convince fans their 1st rd high priced QB isn’t the problem, it’s that the WR’s can’t ‘connect’ with him.

Robinson should have stayed in Dallas, he could have had played with Romo & put up good numbers for a couple of years, made decent money.

He won’t last 5 years in Jax so he’ll never see most of that $32 mil he left Dallas for.

Quarterbacks put recievers in the Pro Bowl not the other way around.

They forgot to get a good QB. Romo makes a lot of WRs look really good. You can’t deny the fact that Robinson was a JAG before he joined the Cowboys and he may be a JAG in more ways than one now that he’s left.

Or maybe Mularkey needs to realize that he does not have Tony Romo to throw him the ball. Seriously, Robinson was a below average WR everywhere he played before Dallas.

Robinson is a good guy, young and will be an OK receiver for the Jaguars, but this seems like a case of Alvin Harper part II. Kind of predictable.
