The 2010 Patriots had locker room issues. Belichick said nothing to the press. He just cleaned house and got rid of players. That just seems like a better way to address the problem.

It is one of life’s realities that coaches, and players, in the New York market get over analyzed and can hardly take a breath without having someone stick a mic in front of them.
Ryan has a way of speaking in absolutes, which I would imagine are a reflection of what he truly thinks, but still kind of annoying.
It’s got to be tough for his kind of personality to exist in the never ending spot light that is the Big Apple.

Actually Rex was being literal. He’s hired his Irish Grandmother to knit a green-and-white “stocking stitched” shawl, to cover the entire Jets locker room. So far she’s making excellent progress using these 3 steps:

1) Knit a row
2) Purl a row
3) Take a swig

He is hoping when she’s finished, she’ll still have enough strength to knit something large enough to cover his ego. Good luck with that, Gramma.

As I looked over this article a few times I see Rex never guarantee anything. He just said he was making sure the team remains a strong group. The only guarantee I heard was from the writer. None in Rexs quotes. Get your facts straight. I love how everyone jumps on Rex for everything he says. Granted there are a lot of patriot fans in here talking.you don’t hear us saying how the pats dynasty has been over. Last year was the first year they weren’t one and done in the playoffs. The only person on the new pats team with rings are Brady . Not even welkers has a ring. So of you guys win it all then you can brag and talk bit until you tits can figure out to beat the Giants which I don’t see happening since Brady only has a few years left the patriots will be the bottom feeders .and the way belichek is he will probably be a snake and retire as a coach the same uswest Brady leaves.

At least he has the ability to self-assess and be critical. There are a lot of things I don’t like about Rex but some things are just overblown. If he added a sense of discipline and accountability he would be much better as a HC. Still, he is one of the better defensive guys in the NFL and if he is more involved on that side of the ball the Jets should look a little better.

It’s so amazing all the Jets haters thst are out there. What Rex says about his team, every coach and player on other teams say about their teams. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t be in the NFL trying to win. The NY area media has a lot to do with it. They over cover teams. When there’s a slow news day, they print personal opinion pieces. Unless your team is the Giants and just won the Suoer Bowl, every team is a loser, just like the Jets. Maybe you focus your “opinions” as to what will improve your team
