They tried to, Winston had a visit scheduled, but the same day he was released, Goodell and Mara hit Washington with 36 million in cap penalties. It’s a good guess Winston’s agent told him that he should just stick in KC, as Washington was likely to be frugal with their checkbook following the sanctions. Little did he know there is no force on Earth powerful enough to close Dan Snyder’s wallet.

Just heard a report on ESPN 980AM (DC) say that he talked with him and that Brown is “still in a lot of pain” and that he followed the rest advise all offseason and it is not working. I seriously doubt Brown will ever be effective again. I’d like to see Willie Smith get a shot. He more than held his own when he replaced Trent WIlliams during his suspension.
