I’m worried this may create a mismatch when the Eagles 4th string DL has to go against Pittburgh’s 3rd string OL next week.

Injuries do recur though. I feel the Eagles wont have a good year. Demetrus Bell cannot successfully block JPP and Demarcus Ware twice each.

Fletcher cox seems to be a little underwhelming so far. thought he was going to be a world beater based on the overhype at the draft. Seems lazy and having a hard time grasping the system. maybe he is just not a practice player. who knows.

Birds, i appreciate the confidence you show every year. Best draft, best free agents, smartest trades but i think everyone knows how this story ends again. ringless.

Its no rwal big deal, they’ll be able to play come week 1 and they have already one year under washburn’s system. Look at the bright side, the backups will be training with the starters and well, the eagles have depth at the defensive line although its not infinite depth

Time for that Graham kid to step it up. Philly not only traded up to get him, they passed on Earl Thomas in order to do so.

With two rookies and a former first round pick trying to prove themselves among others I think this is a blessing in disguise. Especially since none of the injuries are serious. The only way you learn a defense is by playing in it.
