MRI coming for Morris Claiborne

Morris Claiborne, Isaac Madison AP

A wrist injury wiped out his offseason program, and now a knee injury could plague his preseason preparations.

Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne, the sixth overall pick in the 2012 draft, will undergo an MRI on a sore knee, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com.

Claiborne suffered the injury Wednesday, took Thursday off, and didn’t feel right on Friday.

“He had a little twinge there in his knee and our trainers thought it would be best to give him the afternoon off,” Cowboys owner/G.M. Jerry Jones said. “At this time we are not concerned.”

The results of the MRI could change that tune, quickly.

Garcon will continue Santana’s annual tradition of torturing the Cowboys as he will be leaving Claiborne in the dust for years to come brother.

Garçon should have went to Denver because that’s to only way he look decent. Secondly, hopefully the “torching” of Garçon will lead to the Redskins drafting later in the first round compared to the “torching” Moss did allowing y’all to draft real early on the first day.

Cards fan as in St Louis Cardinals fan. You know you have the same user name for Hardball Talk as you do here? Ok probably didnt know that, being as ingnoarnt as you seem

When you make assumptions you know happens. You look like an idiot.

My comment was strictly aimed at making the point that the Deadskins are who they are and will be for a while. And by signing an overpaid receiver may make you warm and fuzzy on the inside, free agency hasn’t really panned out for Mr deeppockets. Just letting the Redskins fan know that they’ll be disappointed once again by the end of the year, just as the Cowboys fans and Jets fan will be too. And I’m a Cowboys fan so all I’m saying is that let the play do the talking

So why don’t you get the facts straight before you get all tough on anyone on this site or any other.

This guy was the number 2 corner his entire college career. And they sign Carr who was a number 2 corner HIS entire career. I don’t see the cowboy’s secondary improving any this year.
