Getty ImagesEven if Sean Payton was at the Saints Hall of Fame Game Sunday (he won’t be), he wouldn’t be able to see a full team.
The Saints will be without starting cornerbacks Jabari Greer and Patrick Robinson for Sunday’s exhbition opener.
Greer’s still on the shelf after sports hernia surgery, which Robinson’s missed this week with a shoulder injury suffered Sunday.
Saints interim coach Joe Vitt also said rookie wide receiver Nick Toon would also miss the game with a left foot injury, saying it would be “anywhere from six to 10 days” before he’d return.
The Cardinals will be down a bit as well, as running back Ryan Williams isn’t ready for game action yet.

For a minute there I thought Jim Nance and Phil Simms wouldn’t be there….
Oh man, this is tragic. Who will cover the #5-7 WRs who will be playing after the first series is over?
which is perfect – b/c the cards are playing without a passing (or running) game – brilliant!
No excuses for kolb then
Like or hate the Saints, this game is about Sean Canfield. Even if you hate Drew, which you shouldn’t if you ever hear his colleagues talk about him… Seans getting a lot of field time this year and he’s training with one of the best in the league. He wants to lead a team. This is do or die for him in a realistically meaningless game. He may or not be a leader for someone’s team.
