obviously you weren't there (in true charger fan fashion). less than 3000 showed up, which is extremely low for an open practice at the teams stadium (located smack dab in the middle of the city). If you don't believe me the number attendees can be googled.

P.S. Transplants sell out games so charger "fans" can sit at home and watch it on tv

Considering the closest NFL is the Cardinals, which is 289 miles away. And in that space we have Los Angeles, Orange County and El Centro...

To think every non-Charger person to show up to a game is from San Diego is dumb.

I've lived here all my life, the only time I see other fans is when they go out when their team is here... Besides them the other 95% of jerseys are Charger jerseys

So nice try.

nicksaviking, While technically you are correct, you do realize that several times a season the Vikings sell massive amounts of tickets the week of a game to corporations? This happens every year with non glamorous AFC teams and the Lions, etc. The Viking fan base is a joke.
-----
A sellout is a sellout much like a win is a win.

If you really want a fan base that is a joke look no further than the Packers.

What other fan base gets suckered out of $250 for "stock" so that they can gleefully go around saying, this is cute, "I'm part NfL owner!" LOL. "I get a special tour of Lambeau!", "I vote for my team!" LoL!!!

hahaha classic charger problems. I live in san diego and I can tell you that by far, they are the worst fan base in all of sports.

I love the comments from bolts fans too, just further proves this fact. yeah, i mean the surf is good that day and they’re offering a discount at seaworld! why would i go to the chargers game??

I went to their free open practice they had at qualcomm last week and no one showed up. oh san diego, you’re always good for a laugh…

Ya no one was there, just 10,000 people. Transplants are the most annoying part of this city.

The common refrain of a lousy fan base. There are 10 billion things to do in NYC and somehow Yankees and Giants tickets still sell.

Soon there will be 999,999 things to do in your little town south of LA.
----------------------------------------------------------

LOL. Yankees & Jets had trouble selling out their season tickets. Jets had to lower their PSL costs just to do that.

"Sorry but there are 1 million things to do in San Diego and about nothing to do in G.B."

Yeah, Freeways and being boxed in by several dozen starbucks and KFCs ...compared to camping/hunting/snowmobiles/sliding on snowhills/cookouts/fishing/meh.

meh, imo... I'd rather live in the wild west than in the run down overcrowded Blade Runner city...

That's pretty sad when u have to ask the fans of the opposing team to buy tics so ur not blacked out. Last yr during the reg season there were SO many Packer fans u could hear them chant GO PACK GO!!! Packers will never have to worry bout a black out game. If u want season tics there's about a 20-25 yr waiting list

Thanks Spanos for blacking us out in LA again for no reason. Like someone in LA with a child, normal 9-5 job, and 2 hours to travel wants to go to a scrimmage for a single series with starters.

When we went to the home opener there last year, it seemed like a home game atmosphere for the Vikings. I'm guessing it had to be close to 50% Vikings fans. It seems like ownership is trying to be the team that moves to LA.
