I bet he was tired of just having to play on special teams and risk injury. He was drafted as a WR with the 34th overall pick. Why would you want to risk it playing special teams? But, it sure pays well. He’ll be back when he runs out of doe. Good luck to him.

I was a huge fan of this guy, I thought he was going to be the best WR coming out of that class. I was mad when the Rams chose Donnie Avery over him. Both were busts, so my pain is a little bit less now. However, Rams could have had Jordy Nelson, Mario Manningham, Pierre Garcon or Stevie Johnson . I’m sad again. -_-

The cap space will be nice but it was better for the BEARS if Thomas played this season. Emery will bring in another good player or two when cut downs come
