APHe’s baaaaaaack.
Sort of. Maybe. Almost.
The Seahawks have confirmed that receiver Terrell Owens has a Monday tryout with the team. Owens’ visit to Seattle was first reported by our buddy Dave “Softy” Mahler of KJR radio.
Owens was out of football in 2011 after tearing an ACL away from the field. He held an open workout in October that no one attended, on a day that more than 50 guys were flown in to the various NFL cities for tire kickings. Since then, no one has shown even a whiff of interest in Owens.
With the Seahawks cutting receiver Antonio Bryant, the door has opened.
If the tryout goes well and Owens gets a preseason roster spot, it doesn’t mean he’ll be suiting up as of Week One. Before he gets there, he’ll have to make it from the 90-man roster to the final 53.

Way to go T.O….getting a look see is a start.
I guess this is the top story in football this morning…
I’m not sure about this one Pete. Terrell “locker room cancer” Owens?
Go T.O Go ! I hope the Seahawks sign you and that you have a successful season ! For your kids and your babies Mommas … I’m sure if given the chance you will do well T. O !
I hope he gets signed…just not the same without TO
Can’t hurt to give him a look, he may be mercurial but he’s unquestionably a future Hall of Famer who may have a little bit left in the tank.
“Get the popcorn ready”. Good luck T. O.
Deep down, he seems to always be in such a bad psychological place without the NFL…that deep down, I kinda hope he makes it.
Get your Geritol ready!
That’s a great way to completely ruin whichever young QB they decide to go with….good thinking pete!
It’s a fact that T.O. has never been brought in for a tryout with an NFL team and not gotten a job out of it. He will perform. There’s no question about that.
Hey T.O go away you had 16 years to show you werent stupid, you failed.
If AL was still around He would give TO a one yr ticket to shine in Silver N Black!!!
Good luck T.O.
It doesn’t make sense to be overly concerned about the kinds of passed behaviors TO has embraced at this point. He is a desperate man who will be well aware of his precarious position. The REAL concerns center around his advanced age and his recent injury history. The over-the-top nonsense is long gone.
I think T.O. Is one of the greatest WR in NFL period. He puts people in seats and his stats back him up too .Hopefully he still has gas in his tank to perform a few more years, and I think he does!
I want to see a poll: who would you rather have?
TO
Plaxico
Braylon
For me personally, TO is head and shoulders above these guys especially when you factor in the contract you could get him for.
Dammit, man. I was hoping the Cowboys would have a moment of clarity, and bring him back in. Now we gotta battle against him Week 2 possibly.
The Seahawks would be a 12-win team with T.O., easy.
Id rather have Plax. Im an eagles fan so we know I can’t pick T.O….right?
