Cowboys coach Jason Garrett knows a thing or two about the things receiver Terrell Owens can do to create problems, in passive-aggressive fashion, for an NFL locker room. And that’s likely one of the reasons why the Cowboys had no interest in a reunion, even though question marks appear throughout their depth chart at the position.

Now that T.O. has a job, Garrett predictably is taking the high road.

I wish him well,” Garrett said Tuesday, via Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com. “Terrell’s a great football player. He’s going to go down as one of the all-time greats to ever play his position. He has a passion for playing. We know that because we were around him, saw how he practiced, how he played.

“I wish him nothing but the best. He’ll help their football team.”

He’ll help their football team in Week Two, when the Cowboys head to Seattle to play T.O. and the Seahawks.

The good news for the Cowboys is that the reunion with Owens could cause some not to realize that it’ll be the team’s first visit to Seattle since Tony Romo bobbled the snap on what would have been a wild-card winning field goal after the 2006 season.

If Owens makes it onto the final roster in Seattle, he’ll spend 25 percent of the season playing against former teams. In addition to the game against the Cowboys, he’ll face the 49ers twice and the Bills in Toronto.
