So, I must look forward to watching the Hawks this year. The possibility of a great season is there, much like the 49ers last year. If the 49ers come back to Earth (which is likely in my opinion), the Cardinals keep sending out Kolb, and the Rams stay the Rams, the Seahawks could annihilate the division. Here’s hoping the football gods shine a little light on the Hawks in 2012 and early 2013.

There is not a better QB in the league if your starter gets hurt, and u need a guy to step in for 5 plays until the circling birds have disappeared from the head if the starter! BCuz T-joke doesn’t have time to think, but as soon as the monarch’s have a chance to land(butterfly’s to the idiots in the room) he completely falls apart!
He has had 6 years to prove his worth & GEL…. His is at best, Not worthy of a starting role! If Carrol starts T-Jax over Flynn or Wilson, I will lose all faith in him. & from a Vikings fans angle, I actually like Pete Carrol, i think TO was a steller pick up , overpaying for Rice was silly, though

I’m a 49ers fan so no body wants to see him fail more than I do, but he hasn’t even had the opportunity yet. This is like calling a draft pick a bust before they play a game.

And it works both ways, lets not anoint him a top 5 QB yet either. He might be very good for all we know so far, but top 5 after season 1 with a new team is a pretty lofty expectation. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that it’s going to take him awhile (a season maybe) to get comfortable with a team and an offense.

tl;dr – why don’t we see him play before we start labeling him as gold or garbage?

The ‘Hawks had a solid defense last year and now being able to move the ball in the air (and on the ground with Marshawn) they’ll be as good as anyone, especially playing in front of their raucous home crowd.
