APTexans linebacker Brian Cushing got sick on Tuesday night and was hospitalized with what the team termed a “minor” illness. But it isn’t minor enough for Cushing to be out of the hospital yet.
Texans coach Gary Kubiak said after today’s practice that Cushing remains in the hospital with flu-like symptoms. The good news, however, is that tests were negative and the team expects Cushing to be back on Thursday.
Kubiak said the Texans are being very cautious with Cushing but are not concerned that this is anything that could affect his long-term health. Cushing apparently has a viral infection that the Texans don’t want him to spread, either to teammates if he’s at practice or to his wife if he’s at home.
The 25-year-old Cushing started every game last year and was voted by his teammates as the Texans’ MVP.

Texans don’t want him spreading the virus? What does hid doctor say?
Dude’s immune system torn down by juice. You know what I mean.
All I’m saying is that I have been in sports medicine/healthcare for 25 yrs. – you don’t get hospitalized for a “minor” illness – even if you know the doc who admitted you – you can get IV fluids in the training room. Something’s fishy here.
Dude has the nasty cold/flu thats going around Houston right now.
Not sure why the hospital was necessary. Unless ofcourse he was foolish enough to try and run around in the 96 degree heat with a 100 degree plus flu. Which, his bravado, is probably exactly what happened.
Take it easy Cushing. We need you out there.
He’s probably pregnant from all the fertility drugs. Like when your teenage neighbor goes to ‘study abroad’ for a year.
maybe it`s his diet the problem…If his production goes down he will have to answer to Arian Foster.
Infected injection site?
Steroid-itis?

THIS is the truth, it’s a rough one.
I don’t know how the moderator of this site bans some comments, and then lets comments about Cushing “juicing” go through. That is not very professional of you.
