Why would the Seahawks lie about TO’s 40 time? It’s not like it would change anyone’s mind. People aren’t down on TO because of his athleticism, they are down on TO because of what they perceive to be character issues.

Everyone know’s TO is fast, they just don’t like his reputation.

Carson Palmer said he had no problem giving an endorsement for Owens.
“Just knowing (Carroll’s) style and the way he goes about teaching and leading his team, I just thought T.O. would be a great fit,” Palmer said. “I really enjoyed playing with (Owens). It was a great relationship when I was there, and I just let Coach know I thought he would fit in really well with his style. I think they’ll have a lot of success together.”

I’m glad the 9ers have Moss because in their Primes both of these WR’s made DB’s look goofy on a routine basis. If TO has anything left in the tank, our guys will know how to cover him because they have to cover Moss everyday in football rehearsal.

It’s easy to jump on the bandwagon and hate on T.O. but to recognize that he is one of the greatest players and competitors in NFL history (check the stats) isn’t the trendy thing to do i guess. I listen to what players say about him, not the media.

T.O. Is his own worst enemy. As an athlete, he is one of the best, but his attitude has a lot to be desired. I personally am a cowboy fan so I am glad the Seahawks have him not the cowboys, but he does have a lot of talent, and a team is lucky to get the “TALENT” for the price they did. If he can keep his nose clean, he might have a few years left in him.

These are totally different conversations. Your comment should be worded such as: “He’s the best receiver this organization has ever inheireted from FA.” A debate between T.O. and Rice can discussed that way since they both come to Seattle after very established NFL careers.

Steve Largent is the best receiver the Seahawks have ever had. He grew up and paid his dues with Seattle. Precise routs, sure hands, zero off-field issues and or mouthing off in the media, #13 on the all time receiving yds list, and most importantly – HOF inductee as a Seahawk. He is the best Seattle has ever had. Period.

Personally I’m getting kind of tired of the sarcastic tone of all these articles on T.O. It’s rather obvious Florio has no respect for Terrell at all, and rips everything from his personal problems to his talent on the field.

Regardless of whether you like the guy or not, there’s nothing wrong with hoping the guy has finally learned something and can take advantage of this opportunity.

His physical talent and work ethic have NEVER been a problem, unlike Randy Moss who famously gives up when he doesn’t want to play anymore.

So I get it, you don’t like Terrell and want to sneak in sly comments about him whenever you can. It would be nice however if some future articles about Terrell don’t have the sarcastic undertone regardless of what the guy does. He could invent a cure for cancer and you would still find a way to deride him for it.

I’m hearing that T.O. is really humbled these days because of his financial battles with all his babies mommas. Life has been brutal to him the last 3 years and I think it’s brought him down to earth.

I think he’ll end up being the # 1 WR in Seattle this season and if he stays humble, he could play another two years after this season. Good luck to him.

Just because he can do more at 38 than you can it doesn’t mean that he should be stuck in a wheelchair!

Why is it okay to not speculate Randy Moss’ 40 time or Willie Gault’s 100 meter dash at age 50???

Mike, you’re rooting for Owens to fail because you hate the guy!!! You’ll be sorry because he takes care of himself and doesn’t drink that much alcohol (none during the season) and that’s why his 40 time is legit!!!

You guys spin every story to be a negative campaign against most individuals.
