I have followed Dave his whole career and have had the privellage of speaking with him numerous times in Greenville when we were both Pirates. Not only is he a great guy he’s a work horse. Everybody and everything in life hits rough patches and tough luck from time to time. Once he’s back he will be Miami’s go to guy. If the Dolphins are foolish enough to cut him someone else will pick him up. He is someone you want in your arsenal because he’s a true threat on the other guys roster. Miami capitalized on Jacksonville’s poor judgement and they need to see their luck and investment through. They won’t be sorry!

Wow! Dolphin fans are now paused for Mr. expendable Matt Moore who was characterized as such by a local South Florida newspaper reporter. He was the 12th rated passer in the NFL last season and should be given the opportunity to lose his job on the field. Which could happen as Ryan Tannehill has looked like the real deal in training camp.

Matt Moore deserved to start this season. It is a shame to see anyone go down due to injury and I wish Garrard a speedy recovery but Miami will ultimately be pleased with Moore’s work this season.

Moore did a fine job last season and there’s no reason to suspect he won’t do the same this year. Garrard is finished, signing him was a waste of time.

That sucks for Garrard, but man it was shocking when they penciled him in as the starter for tonight’s game over Moore. I thought Moore had done enough to keep that spot for at least the first preseason game. Now it’s up to the rookie to try to supplant him…
