I used to root for the Saints since I liked Brees when he was with SD, but these stupid comments are getting tiresome. Maybe if you understand the rules you would know that the shot on Pierre Thomas was a clean good shot. Different rules apply to players who are no longer defenseless. And also to think that not having Pierre Thomas in that game caused you to lose shows how delusional you really are.

Face it, the Giants were the beneficiaries of inexplicable poor play by better teams after backing into the playoffs with a 9-7 record. Why should teams fear them, or respect them all that much this season? Might be poor sportsmanship to say but it’s the truth.

Trust me, the Saints feel the same way, Donte. Especially since they would have hosted the Giants the following week, and had beaten the Giants the last three times they had played them in the Superdome by about a combined 400 points.

In other words, the Packers and the 49ers completely underestimated how good of a team the Giants really were and got beat because of it. They continue to underestimate the G-men this season as well to their own peril. I am by no means a Patriots fan, but I will credit the Pats for not saying this kind of garbage after this past Super Bowl or even in 07.

Well I’m a Buffalo Bills fan and as much as I hate to say it…he’s right. Dontel speaks the truth. The Giants surprised them and it was the 49er”s Super Bowl to lose.
Regarding the Giants; well that division will prevent them from repeating. The 49er’s have a great opportunity to get to the big dance and WIN!!!!

Giant fan here and yeah duh, we know theGiants weren’t a great team last year due to all our injuries but the biggest joke of all is the 49ers are the worst 13-3 team and Packers worst 15-1 team of all-time…….and they keep crying about how they choked at home in the playoffs. How embarrassing losing to a 9-7 team at home?

All he said was we felt it was our game to lose and we let it slip through our fingers. Anytime you are winning late in a game and you end up losing it was your game to lose.
