Urlacher's knee is NOT ready an thats his fault an nobody elses. Now in a CONTRACT year he will be playing HURT an as the season go on it will get worse. If Emery dont sign Urlacher to a new contract... I dont blame him.. Its time for Chicago to pull out a great young MLB like they ALWAYS do.

Urlacher needs to show up this season an play some pro bowl caliber football. Emery is a great GM an if he dont sign Urlacher… I for one will back him. Urlacher put his self in this position.. He knew he needed surgery after the Minnesota game last season an he didnt take care of his self IN A CONTRACT YEAR
--------------------------------------------------------

Didn’t take care of himself? The guy has always been in great shape, and rarely misses any time. Doctors told him that he could have surgery, or let it heal naturally. Lets not forget that guys often have issues with pain and swelling after minor surgery like the one that Urlacher would have had. I am quite sure that Urlacher would have had the surgery if doctors had told him that it was the clear cut best solution.

Either way, I don’t think that there is anything to see here. Urlacher doesn’t need training camp to be ready for the regular season. He is at the point in his career where there is no reason for him to rush back just to take some meaningless reps. I would be more concerned if the Bears actually made a move to bring in a LB that might be able to start. The guys that they signed are just camp/depth guys.

This team realized they couldn't stop anyone, so they tried to build up their offense to compete in shootouts.

Unfortunately, they didn't upgrade the offensive line.

Urlacher is getting up there in age, and is banged up almost every year. Yet, the Bears have no depth. For example... Vontaze Burfict was an undrafted free agent who the Bears could have looked at with no ris and very little money. Poor management
