APSteelers receiver Antonio Brown and cornerback Ike Taylor are not getting along.
Brown and Taylor got into a fight after practice on Sunday and had to be separated by a group that included General Manager Kevin Colbert, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. This was the second fight between the two during training camp; they also fought a couple weeks ago.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said afterward that he thought the players would work it out.
“These guys understand what we’re working for, and when we step into stadiums, we’re together,” Tomlin said. “When you fight your brother, sometimes, it gets a little heated . . . the guys understand what that’s about, and they’ll leave it on the grass where it should be.”
The Steelers were concerned enough about this second fight that they convened a meeting afterward involving Brown, Taylor, Colbert, safety Ryan Clark, receiver Jerricho Cotchery and receivers coach Scotty Montgomery. Brown and Taylor were seen walking toward the locker room together after that meeting, so they’ve apparently been convinced not to have Round 3. Not yet, anyway.

The Steelers are becoming less and less Steeler-like every season.
was brown burning taylor like demaryius thomas did in the playoffs last year? lol
Gayke Gayden sez: Can’t we all just get along?
So let’s see if the media spins this into a debate about if the Steelers are out of control like they did with the Jets.
These fights happen. Move on. There’s nothing to see here.
Taylor was probably mad that Antonio Brown is already a better receiver than he will ever be as a cornerback
@Broncosfan29 I was thinking along those lines myself. Taylor is probably still livid at his performance back in January and trying to prove himself again and its not going so well. I mean hell, if I got burned by Tebow for 80 yards in a playoff game I’d be hella pissed off too.
Oh noes! Not a camp fight!!!
Mike Tomlin will unleash hell on their asses!
Implosion coming up
broncosfan29 yeah lol your really cool for saying that
Its possible that Ike Taylor was on steroids a few seasons ago he was very muscular and ripped. I think he could take Brown in a street fight but I think Brown is smarter and quicker.
The Jets should take note. When things on a team aren’t going team-like, you sit the guys down with each other, their captains, and coaches and remind them of what their true role is in this scheme.
Mature move by Tomlin, as always.
They were probably just trying to settle the claim to the “most overrated Steeler” title.
One is a very average CB on the downside of his career and the other is a sub 6 foot 180lbs WR with 2 career TDs.
These type of fights happen every year around this time at numerous camps. Guys haven’t hit anyone in months, save a few plays in a preseason game. It’s hot out. They’re away from home. Things boil over, it’s not a big deal. I like the fire from both guys, just don’t hurt one another and bury it before the next game.
Coaches in the past have tried to set up guys to get a scuffle going to fire up the squad.
I’m just baffled that Ike’s head fits into a helmet
