Munch said he’d name a starter by the third preseason game. Logically both would get a start before a decision was made.

Didn’t really have anything to do with who did what last Saturday. It’s who starts the third game dress rehearsal that will be most interesting.

Good for Locker that he’s risen to the challenge in camp, and hasn’t given them a reason yet not to consider turning him loose sooner rather than later.

But grateful for Hasselbeck, who is still being his usual solid, steady, professional self, too.

Both of them reportedly tore it up in practice again today. This one’s been fun to watch, because each guy has been pushing the other in a friendly way. No egos involved.
