Big Ben also settled out of court and paying the girl off. Ben has also been accused 3 times of rape. Once I could see it maybe a false accusation, but 3 times, the man should be in jail. Totally different from the Saints accusations where there is no proof to warrant the punishment handed out.

I’m very surprised to find a lack of a response from Florio on ESPN’s lack of a response to the State Police’s findings that contradict their Outside the Lines’ allegations. Surely in the past we could count on Florio to poke, prod, and bash into the ground an argument that instigates some ESPN on ESPN crime; but then again maybe he is slipping since he started cashing NBC checks. Say it ain’t so.

people never cease to amaze me. law enforcement says there’s no evidence and it’s rigged. had the goodstapo investigated, they would believe every word.

goodell doesn’t have any gonads, he’s got a napolean complex. he’s an economist and marketer and the sheep fall for it hook, line and sinker.

Doesn’t have any credible evidence or any confessions for pay-to-injure, but he’s willing to stick to his convictions, as long as he doesn’t have to prove anything. It’s too bad the headlines that were so big when the wiretapping accusations were made are so small now.

I think it’s time for the Saints to go after ESPN over these false accusations. They were just digging for some more dirt after the Bounty Scandal. It’s time for the media to also pay the consequences.

Vilma and Brees say the saints* are innocent of any wrongdoing. Hometown judge judy wants to make them innocent. Louisiana State poooolice say they are innocent of wrongdoing, saints* fans say they’re innocent……guess that makes it an open and shut case……..other than that little fact of Roger Goodell having some gonads and knowing that the Federal Appeals Court will back him up.

I don’t know if there was any wire tapping done but the fact that the FBI was involved in the investigation doesn’t mean much.

Whitey Bulger and the FBI had a nice relationship.

Just FYI for those saying it’s good ol’ boy with state police…don’t forget the FBI is investigating too…and the saints themselves hired Louis Freeh (of the penn state report) to investigate both these allegations and the bounty allegations…..so the facts will eventually come out finally…not BS hearsay

Actually, no, “everyone does not know” that. Hard as it is to believe, some people in America actually have the insane idea that there should be some shred of evidence of guilt before people are convicted of wrong doing.

Saints players and coaches have maintained all along that these stories were lies. And it turns out they are telling the truth!

Now if only the judge would provide a ruling for vilma… It’s rare that cases are so unfair that a federal judge openly favors one side in spite of legal precedent. The NFL has become a real joke and they are messing with the lives of coaches and players in a negative way.

I love all these people that keep blabbering about some judge that wants to rule in favor of vilma… the funny thing is, she cant. She knows as well as anyone that those players agreed to give goodell authority over discipline and appeals. We all know that some idiot liberal judge would love to protect the players from their own mistakes, we know that. You can shutup about it now. There nothing you or she can do about it.

this disgruntled employee forgot to come prepared with the awesome evidence of his own handwritten notes describing a meeting he had with Loomis, where Loomis laid out his evil wiretapping plan in detail.

Without the handwritten notes of the disgruntled employee accuser, we just don’t rise to the level of the bounty investigation, where NFL has accuser’s own notes of a supposed ledger, the NFL authored statements of alleged bad guys that they pretend the bad guys wrote / stated, etc.

The bounty has over 5,000 invisible pages of evidence / documents to back it up, with the center piece being the accuser’s hand written notes.

I am sure that Loomis had the wire tapping in place. These are the evil Saints after all, but there are no writings of the accusers to back it up. Just not enough evidence, not even invisible evidence.

Lol…I love how sensitive people are. I wasn’t even suggesting they were guilty of it, but with the scandals of late, it just makes sense to find an out of state board to review the case. I actually like the Saints organization, and I’m not a fan of the witch hunt that went down. I would just want an unbiased ruling of the case.
