“Remote” chance Jets pursue Chad Johnson

So with receiver Chad Johnson fired by the Patriots and Dolphins so far this year, will his tour of the AFC East continue?

If it does, it likely won’t happen with the Jets.

Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com says that the chances of the Jets, whose depth chart at receiver currently consists of Santonio Holmes, Antonio Cromartie (just ask him), rookie Stephen Hill, and . . . and . . . and . . . . are “remote.”

Coincidentally, Johnson’s decline seemed to coincide with being shut down in consecutive weeks by Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis at the end of the 2009 season, once to cap the regular season and six days later in the playoffs.

It doesn’t mean the Jets won’t add a veteran free agent.  But it does mean they most likely be adding yet another ring to the circus.

That would be perfect. Rex needs Chad. Chad needs Rex. Those two were made for each other. And this would be the final dousing of lighter fluid that would be the NY Jets 2012 campaign going up in flames like a bonfire.

Makes sense to add another clown to the circus known as the NY Jets.

Yes, please, add another sideshow so that no one in the media pays any attention to the Giants till November. We like it that way in the lands of Super Bowl rings and classy owners.

Just don’t say he is headed to Buffalo! All of our Wideouts are better than Chad Johnson, he’d have no time on the field. Besides, I can’t stand Men who physically hurt women, they are punks.

At least Johnson’s foul language couldn’t be criticized by the head coach.

Of course spying on the miami playbook is worth more than his talents in the afc east

Jets vs Dolphins games will be throwbacks to old time football when teams ran the ball 50 times again and passes 10 with the miserable talent each of them have at WR and QB.

About as remote as a chance of the Jets signing Tim Tebow.

It is like a train wreck, no matter how bad it gets or looks, you cannot help but watch it unfold. Reality is everyone wants to see it fail. Rex did this to your orginization with his loud mouth.

Even the defending SB champ NY Giants are flying under the radar, because the media frenzy surrounding the Jets.

Ocho would complete the farce – and I love the guy.

    Oh please, please, please.

What a sideshow circus the team would be then.

If they can side Plax and Johnson, it would be like winning the Triple Crown in horse racing. Too much fun.

If it doesn’t make sense and might hurt locker room chemistry, you can count on the Jets to sign him!

lol…Rex will say “He’s a perfect fit for what we are trying to do”

If they sign Chad, Cromartie would still be the second best WR on the team.

please sign him it will be fun to watch my brother in-law the Jets fan pull what little hair he has left out of his head. Rex,Tebow, and possibly Johnson, can a team be more fun to watch implode ?
