I’m sure Kaepernick will be glad to know with all the dual threat QBs who have made a legitimate mark on the game over the years that you could compare him to, you saw him coming out in the draft as the next…Brad Smith.

If you have a reasonably capabable QB who can read defenses and hit the throws first, and is a bonafide rushing threat on top of that, you don’t have to call it the Wildcat. You can just call it “the offense”.

49ers wouldn’t have traded up 9 spots if they thought he would still be there for them at the 13th pick in the 2nd round, so somebody must have had their sights on him. If not the Jets, then who?
