APThe comings and goings of undrafted rookies are seldom worth notice this time of year, but one attracted a lot of attention this week.
When the Bears waived Ronnie Cameron, it didn’t register with many (i.e. me), but other teams noticed.
Five teams, including the Giants, Eagles, Texans and Lions put in claims for the former Old Dominion standout, but he was awarded to the Browns, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com.
The Giants were interested because of the rash of health problems they have at the position, but it’s rare to see a player no team wanted in the draft attract such a market.
Still, you’ll have to pardon us if his name cross the waiver wire again and we don’t notice.

Considering the other teams listed, I’m sure Cameron is thrilled to be going to Cleveland. Home of the “your career is over before you even start it.”
Browns are just tearing it up this offseason. May as well just give them the Lombardi trophy.
Isn’t there a way they could still throw in a few future draft picks to get this guy? Read all about in the upcoming bestseller, Browns 2012 — Overpayment for Dummies: How you can overpay for the franchise, RB, QB, and WR all in one off-season.
There’s something the Browns will always win…the waiver wire!
He dodged a bullet by not going to the Giants, Eagles, Texans and Lions. LOL
If they actually turn out to be franchise players, they received a deal.
Fantastic pick up Browns !
