Rogers was not a starter. Last year the starters were Bernard and Canty. Linval Joseph was the backup so he is the starter while Canty is out. That still leaves the Giants with: Joseph, Bernard, Tuck and JP-mothertruckin-P as starters. So worse comes to worse they use Osi in a tackle spot. That will surely make it easier on the opposing offense.

Beat the clot out? Really???? The reason it’s a season ending injury is because blood clots are deadly serious. A blood clot in the leg can travel to the heart or lungs. A person can DIE from this.

It sounds like Shaun was finally making an effort to be the player everyone thought he should be, and now this setback. And it’s a pretty serious injury.

Lions fans loved Shaun Rogers, when he felt like playing hard. Unfortunately his inability to play every down (lack of conditioning/work ethic) cost us games. In the end we were happy to see him leave.

I love it when a guy like that finally turns himself around, and this isn’t the ending to his career that I would have wished for him.

He wasn’t our starter. Canty and Linval Joseph are the starters. Still a bad injury for him and I wish him well. Giants should be fine without him though.
