Right, because you have to be really on the ball to realize that one of the best TE’s in the game will get a lot of looks against teams with crappy LBs. Jeez…

The Eagles have a pretty good coaching staff but their biggest weakness is the fact that Andy Reid is in charge. That’s an even bigger weakness than putting an offensive guy in control of the defense. How many games will Reid choke away due to rookie clock mismanagement this season? The O/U is 2. You know it will happen. I know it will happen.

Ok, well I’ll just put it this way….you’re one of the only people I have ever heard say anything negative at all about Witten’s game. That’s not hyperbole, that’s not an exageration. You have this thread alone littered with Skins, Giants, and Eagles fans all saying positive stuff about Witten. That would only happen if maybe this was about Ware.

Also, the Gates comparison isn’t similar. We aren’t talking about what-ifs here, i’m talking facts. At this point in his career, there has been no tight end who has produced more than Witten at the same point in their careers. We’re talking an 8 year career so far, 7 pro-bowls, 5 all-pros, fastest to 600 receptions, 3rd all time on TE receptions already.
