The Cardinals tried to do the “right” thing when they drafted Levi Brown over Adrian Peterson. I think the Cardinals have been reinforced since that draft that drafting talent over need is something they feel is in their better interest. Anyone who has seen Levi Brown play would be sure to agree.

Yea, use your first round pick to reach at an o-lineman or trade down for more ‘potential’. That’s just what the Cardinals need.

What about Isaiah Williams he was the better reciever at maryland than heyword bey. Give this guy a chance if you watch the pre season games he is always open.

As a layman, I’d say that ability isn’t what Cardinals fans need to worry about with Floyd. It’s injuries. He’ll be very good if he stays healthy.

One of the more overrated players coming out of college. I watch all ND games and the fascination with this guy is a bit odd. Reminds a little of Tim Couch, that one still baffles me.

Whisenhunt has historically not granted jobs to guys right out of the gates no matter where they were drafted. Floyd is no different. Whiz has been building an atmosphere of earning your spot which is a positive thing for this franchise.

This is why the Cardinals will always be the Cardinals.

While Pittsburgh, where Whisenhunt and Grimm supposedly learned something, drafted DeCastro, who the Cardinals could have used to help shore up a terrible offensive line (see 49ers two years ago in a similar spot), the Cardinals instead went for the shiny new toy when you already have that position pretty well covered.

The Steelers find much better players than Floyd will ever be in later rounds, like Wallace and Antonio Brown, while the Cardinals have wasted another high pick, neglecting one of the worst offensive lines in football, a persisting constant since Whisenhunt and Grimm got to Glendale.
