Texans quarterback Matt Schaub doesn’t have a new contract, but one of the guys responsible for helping Schaub stay healthy enough to get a new contract has gotten a new contract.

Left tackle Duane Brown has agreed to terms on a new deal, according to Mark Berman of FOX 26 in Houston.

Brown had been due to earn $2.08 million in 2012, the final year of his contract.

The fifth-year pro has started every game of his Texans career.
