Jermaine Gresham leaves in first quarter with knee injury

The Bengals made it through the first five minutes in better shape than they did last week against the Jets, but they didn’t make it out of the first quarter unscathed.

Tight end Jermaine Gresham left the game against the Falcons during Cincinnati’s second possession after he turned a short pass from Andy Dalton into a nice 25-yard gain. He didn’t need help getting off the field or show any obvious sign of injury, but the Bengals announced a short time later that Gresham would not return to action.

Gresham’s status going forward is unknown, although he has remained on the sideline and is walking without any assistance from the training staff. It looks like the choice to hold him out the rest of the way is precautionary, although we’ll wait until the Bengals give some more information before drawing any conclusions on that front.

The Bengals lead the Falcons 3-0 after a Mike Nugent field goal.

On another note, I love watching the Falcons-Bengals game with Mike Perreira bascially hoping the replacements fail on air.

Bengals are dropping like flies, Glass Jaw Joe Flacco keeps yapping how he’s the greatest, and Steelers have no WRs. You heard it here first — Brownies sweep the AFC North.

Why dont we just skip to the playoffs. Steelers were gonna win the afc north anyways but wow ratbirds and bungles are just serving it up on a silver platter!

Love how Fox announcer Kenny Albert thinks a player is down when his knee touches even though no defender touched him. Kind of loses his ability to be critical of the officials when he doesn’t know a basic rule like that.

No WRs? I hate saying anything nice about the steelers or their players but Antonio Brown is arguably the second best wide receiver in the division. He is a stud. browns blow and will be lucky to win a game in the division.

Yep, they sweep the bottom of the division like they do every year. Bengals win it this year, fellow tater. The only serious injury they have has been to Wharton. Dunlap and Rey will be fine.

Steelers have new offensive coordinator, rookie lineman, and veteran guys missing.

Ravens are without Suggs, and Brownies already have an injured running back

Yikes, saw that play where he planted his foot on a long stride and got tackled from behind. He walked off okay but it looked bad on replay
