Urlacher will be fine. Hes a 264 pound MLB not a 220 pound QB. plus Urlacher dont take hits hes the one doing the hitting.

Everyone talking in absolutes. Only Sith deal in absolutes. No, but seriously, his career isn’t over yet. These were minor knee scope surgeries; he didn’t tear anything in his knee, so I don’t believe this is the beginning of the end. He may not be out there week one, but he’ll play and provide his usual spark in the middle.

Great LB … but If he makes full recovery he still won’t be nearly the same laterally moving LB making plays and tackles. He will prob only be able to play downhill and be awful in coverage.

Its almost like Peyton last year when he and the team kept saying that he would be back by week 1 and it was almost like they were withholding the true severity of his injury from the public. I hope Urlacher can play but the longer this drags on and the more information we are getting seem to suggest that this is a pretty serious injury.

You can hide and or mask pain for so long, but it will show when he can’t cover like they need him to.
Then the Bears will be put in the position to do what’s best for the team by releasing him or try to let him give it another go.

To me; he’s selfish. Instead of taking the time to heal {IF he can, at 34 years old, the knees are worn out} he’s going to try and make it back by week one.

Time to take a step back and let the younger guys get some reps, Brian.

No shame in getting older, the shame comes when you fail to accept it.
