Latest lockout puts game, players at risk

The regular season starts soon, and there’s no reason to think that the lockout of the officials will be ending any time soon.

And that’s not a good thing.

It’s time for the two sides to work this out. They’re not so far apart that a middle ground can’t be found.

It needs to be found. Now.

I could go on. But I already did go on for three minutes and change in a special mini-edition of PFT (Not) Live.

So here it is, if you want to better understand a situation that you may not care about now, but that you definitely will care about when your favorite team is on the receiving end of a crappy call in Week One or thereafter.
