Pretty sure Rodgers got right back up from harder hits from Julius Peppers… (one in 2008 and the NFC title hit) …. but then again, Yeah … He’s soft, I know this cause I don’t get hit by all pro defensive players for a living, I just leave comments …ka-durrh1?

I know exactly how the old time players feel about the league now. So do you. Just about every retired player alive is suing the league for not protecting them from themselves when they played. They all have their hands out.

The owners are being sued by the players for allowing the players to play the way they did in the 80′s and 90′s. Every ex-player who hasn’t been able to have success outside of football has blamed football for their failures.

That’s why football is changing.

I watch NFL because those are gladiators on the field, not men. looks like football is becoming a thing of the past. I’m glad I got to watch it while I was growin up, during the peak, and best years of the NFL’s history(80′s to 90′s).

Complete Bush League, Cromartie. Launching yourself at the head of a QB during a preseason game? Inexcusable. I understand that football is a rough and gritty sport, and trust me, I love it… but intentionally aiming at a QB’s head, in the preseason no less, is too much.

All fans need to boycott week 4 of the preseason. No TV no going to games – until something like this happens Goodell will continue to ruin football.
Yes the sport is dangerous but there are far far more dangerous jobs that pay far far less. 1 NFL payday could set anyone up for life if not for buying Ferrari’s and mansions. 1 year league minimum is more than many will earn in their entire life.

After thinking about the situation and the fine, I still feel the Eagles are better off with a CB taking a 21K fine for excessive hit than a CB (Asante Samuel) who is afraid of contact.

Now that the self-proclaimed “second-best-receiver” on the Jets is going to be playing a little offense this year, it will be quite interesting to watch him run across the middle and stretch-out to catch a slightly off-target pass from Mr. Sanchez, or a slightly more-off-target pass from Mr. Tebow, and then be on the receiving end of a bone crushing hit from some mutant linebacker who had a 10-yard run at him.

Perhaps his definition of a “clean, legal hit” will be slightly altered when he’s lying on the ground, looking through the ear hole of his helmet.
