If you actually watched the games, you would see that his performances thus far have been decent, so-so, and up & down. So, since your team jettisoned him, you now automatically hate him and are waiting around hoping to read strong criticism of the guy? Stay classy dude, it’s not like he brought relevancy to that pathetic NFL town or anything. Bunch of band wagoning loser

LoL. I’ve always loved the Colts… I’ve never been a big fan of Mannings. That’s two things you’re wrong about.

Performances are good or bad. 2 picks in a half and one decent drive IS NOT up and down, or decent. It’s horrible… and if you weren’t too busy drinking the Kool-Aid, you’d see that too.

Finally, Tony Dungy brought legitimacy to the Colts and Indianapolis. Without his defense, it wouldn’t have mattered HOW many TD passes Manning threw.

So there.

I feel its his inaccuracy thats bothering him and not his arm strength. Granted maybe one has to do with the other, but what he IS doing is moving the chains at will. You have to figure at some point, he’ll stop turning the ball over, it may cost them some games. By the end of the year, if their in the playoffs he’ll have it figured out by then and all of a sudden the other teams won’t be reliant on the turnovers. Elway and Fox seem confident and they should be.

Let’s not forget that Manning completed 15 passes in a half. Last year’s starter would’ve taken until week 4 to complete his 15th pass.

First of all, mike florio is more focused on what went wrong and not what went right and you haters are feeding off of it. I watched the game and as a broncos fan, I saw a lot of good and some bad and a lot of questions about manning were answered. Let’s not forget people, this is still the pre-season, but it is still important because a lot of players are playing for a spot on their team. Stats means nothing, its not gonna roll over into the reflgular season so im not worried about mannings 3 INTs and no TDs, the only thing the broncos want from him is to shake some of the 20 month rust off. Not gone lie, his second int was on him, too much heat on that pass but other than that, he did well and he marched the broncos down the field. The o line played superbed, manning was only knocked down one time and yes he got right back up so we can stop all the one hit and he’s done crap. So far I think decker is gonna be the main go to guy, Thomas is still struggling with route running. Had he kept going, he would have caught the deep ball manning threw, that’s right he threw a deep ball. Tamme dropped a TD pass in the endzone that should have been caught, this is probably my only concern. Receivers are still not quite on the same page as manning but they have 2 more games left before it count. None of us broncos fans are saying automatic superbowl with manning, but he does give them a chance to compete. I only consider it a bust if they don’t make the playoffs pending the circumstances. Im confident the broncos will be ready to fully go come week one.

Manning moved the offense down the field with ease against the hawks.
there is still a lack of timing and chemistry between qb and recievers,but i see no cause for alarm.
the Broncos look like they will easily bring their ppg up about 10-12 points from last year.
the dropped TD by tamme would have put the 1st teamers up by 8 at the half. even with a fumble and 2 int’s
and Manning will settle in when the games count.
i dont see a guy like manning throwing more picks than TD’s on a regular basis.
the Broncos should be able to repeat as AFCW champs,with the chiefs a close 2nd

I saw the game, but evidently not the one you watched through your neon green glasses. The one I saw had Denver leading at the half (you know, the half that all the starters played), and that was after THREE Denver turnovers. Not to take anything away from your 3rd place NFC West team, they looked pretty good. But don’t portray it to be something it wasn’t you ignorant tool.

The NFL game is FAST. It’s not like walking down to the park and playing tackle with your drunk buddies. He was out for a whole season. It’s going to take awhile for him to get used to the speed of the game. I think, and hope, he’ll be fine for week 1.

I’ve watched both of Denver’s pre-season games and I’m at a loss. Peyton is moving the ball down the field like a mad man. That two minute drill last night was perfection. But then SUDDENLY he’ll throw the worst pass I’ve ever seen and be picked off.

He obviously CAN throw because he’s throwing a lot of good passes. But when he throws a bad one it’s SOOO bad that it not only looks terrible it also gets picked off.

I personally don’t think his velocity is that bad. His consistency IS bad though. He’s got a way to go yet.

Peyton will be fine come season time. The guy has been out for some time now. It takes a couple of games to back into the swing of things. The AFC West is gonna be super tight all the way til week 17. I wouldn’t be surprised if Peyton and the Broncos win the division…the guy is just that good. His presence boosts teams moral, trust, and confidence. I mean c’mon now, this team won the division with Tebow at QB.

Sorry, he looked terrible. All of his passes looked weak, maybe 60% of the velocity he used to have. he still found the open guys and got the ball there when the throws were easy, but the pick was a throw the old Manning would have gotten there. Matt Flynn has a much stronger arm at this point. Manning is a shell of what he used to be.
