One of the biggest stories in the NFL right now is the apparently escalating acrimony between the Jaguars and running back Maurice Jones-Drew, so we’ll spend some time talking about it on Wednesday’s edition of PFT Live.

Mike Dempsey of 1010XL Jacksonville Sports Radio will join Mike Florio to discuss all the aspects of Jones-Drew’s holdout, including the chances that it might end in time for the running back to be on the field when the regular season gets underway. There will also be a discussion about the Jaguars’ plans to become a regular visitor to London in the coming years and what, if any, impact that will have on the local fan base.

Florio will also be debuting this year’s PFT Live coaching hot seat on Wednesday’s program. Tune in to hear which coaches might be feeling like they sat on the wrong bench outside of Cowboys Stadium.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

  1. General Comment for the Upcoming Season: With all the confusion about QB-rating among casual fans, a relatively clear and accessible statistic to rate a QB is Yards-Per-Attempt, particularly when more relevant factors are integrated into the definition, like sacks. I hope PFT uses this stat more often when discussing QB proficiency.
