EXACTLY. Being quiet doesn’t make you more “classy” anyway. Revis is arrogant as hell (although I love the guy), and Champ is also.

On to Swag. Swag is not always displayed in an outward manner. So yes even Eli has plenty of swag inside it’s just displayed differently. The swag the team wants from Prince is just mearly that undying confidence in himself, no matter what happened the play before. Nnamdi has this as does every top CB no matter the outward display.

That’s my sentiment. They’re just trying to stir something up, because they have NOTHING on Camp Coughlin. And instead of actually covering the campaign to repeat, they are looking to drum up a non-story. SO EXPECTED.

I’ll take Herb Adderly, Willie Brown, Mel Blount, Champ Bailey, Mike Haynes and even Revis, but they apparently couldn’t play for the Giants, they’re not big enough bleepholes… so go out and get PacMan, DeAngelo Hall and Antrell Rolle, see how that works out for you. You may lead the league in return touchdowns, but also in touchdowns allowed and worst passes defensed ratio.
Bottom line is you have to be yourself, and the Giants need to back the bleep off this dude. For every Deion and Jack Tatum and Night Train Lane, there are the above mentioned guys. You don’t have to have a pimp walk to play DB.
Prince is a GENUINE Christian man, like Tom Coughlin. It’s not in him to be self-aggrandizing and disrespectful.That doesn’t mean he can’t play.

Why didn’t they pick up on this huge personality difference in the pre-draft interviews? I get that not showing enough fire would annoy a team, but they had every chance to find out what makes him tick.

Soldiers, Firemen, Policemen, College and Professional Athletes all know what this is about. You are taking the field against an enemy; other Soldiers, Fire, Criminals and other Athletes so you want to know that the man to your left and right has got you covered.

Eli went through this too with Tiki and showed his swagger by letting Tiki know he wasn’t taking his crap. Eli put up with a lot from a lot of people, you just didn’t see it on a video.

This is nothing. If you choose one of these professions then you need to know it comes with the job.

While I despise the word swag, I do think Prince needs a mean streak or an edge. Lots of players are nice guys off the field and can turn into a different type on the field. Nobody’s saying the guy has to be a jerk or a Prime-Time-level show off (though I acknowledge that may be what the word “swag” implies to some people), but he has to play with some kind of purpose.

The bottom line is that this is a meathead industry that’s going to resolve problems in a meathead fashion. If you’re not tough enough, we’ll harden you up and make you tough. I can’t say whether it’s right or wrong… But if you don’t like it, don’t play or watch football. And I guarantee some level of this behavior takes place in your favorite team’s locker room, too.

The Giants are FRESH off another super bowl win! I think the guys within their locker room know what it takes to win, and they know who the weak links are on their team. And it looks like they are addressing the weak links during camp. I saw the video and Prince needs to see the wizard, because his heart is missing!!
