Anywhere but Green Bay. The guy wants to play. If he doesn’t get more $ this year, he is betting on himself to impress GMs with more touches somewhere else. Though it weakens the Bears I can’t blame the guy for taking a shot and I hope he does well just not in the NFC North. Bears should have seen this coming when he didn’t report for OTAs. They should have drafted a back in like round 6 or 7. Chris Polk went undrafted and Philly signed him.

The 700.000 the Bears would have paid Bell was as good as it gets… I dont think any other team will offer him much more than that. He is a second string running back at best an he should have stayed in Chicago an got a Superbowl ring this season

Where are all the people on here that usually kill players about “honoring their contracts”. It’s a business and both sides have to use whatever weapons at their disposal to get what they want. I wish Bell the best, as long as it’s not against my team.

It is difficult to imagine another team offering him a substantially larger amount, if any. I do not understand his, or his agent’s reasoning. It is another example of players and their advisors not living in reality. I wish him no ill whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I know nothing about him, however it appears as though he is sticking his neck out quite a long way.

The Bears couldn’t have gotten even a measly 7th for him? C’mon man.

A lot of teams are hurting at HB (Pats, Bengals, Steelers…), and trading him would have guaranteed not landing in Det or GB.

Running backs just don’t have any clout these days.
They’re too interchangeable, except for the top two or three guys.
Why pay a guy over a million to be a part time player when you can get the same thing for much less?

See for every MJD who wants a team to pay him more money there are 10 Kahlil Bell’s who teams want to pay less. The difference is MJD will get paid even at his existing level Bell got cut.

Fans often complain about the MJD’s of this world but I never seem to see many supporting the Bells of this world.
